Description

Panniers were loaded onto donkeys to carry the harvest home from the fields: one pocket on each side and the middle over the animal’s back. This esparto pannier planter keeps that shape, with handles at the ends, and today it is used for planting flowers or as a decorative piece in patios, porches and entrances.

There are two sizes: 60 cm (60 × 30 × 25 cm) and 90 cm (90 × 40 × 35 cm). More ideas among our esparto planters.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes are available?

60 cm: 60 × 30 × 25 cm; 90 cm: 90 × 40 × 35 cm.

Can I plant directly inside it?

We recommend placing the plant in a pot with a saucer and setting it inside the opening, so watering does not wet the esparto.

Can it be used outdoors?

It looks great on porches, covered patios and sheltered terraces. Keep it away from rain and prolonged damp so the esparto lasts for many years.
