Description

This esparto wall planter hangs horizontally: an elongated panel of hand-braided esparto on a wooden frame, with a row of esparto pockets for the pots. It looks great above a bench, over the worktop or along a patio wall.

There are two sizes: 40 cm (40 × 22 × 15 cm) and 75 cm (75 × 22 × 15 cm). If you prefer it vertical, see the vertical wall planter. More among our esparto planters.

Handmade by artisans from Jaén

Esparto is one of the fibres most closely tied to rural life in Jaén and southern Spain. This piece comes from an artisan workshop in the province, where it is braided and sewn by hand, strand by strand. From cazorla.online, the craft shop from Cazorla, we send it to you just as it leaves the workshop.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes are available?

40 cm: 40 × 22 × 15 cm; 75 cm: 75 × 22 × 15 cm.

Can I plant directly inside it?

We recommend placing the plant in a pot with a saucer and setting it inside the opening, so watering does not wet the esparto.

Can it be used outdoors?

It looks great on porches, covered patios and sheltered terraces. Keep it away from rain and prolonged damp so the esparto lasts for many years.
