Description

This esparto log basket with a wrought iron handle brings together two traditional crafts: a body of esparto braided and sewn by hand and a black wrought iron handle rising about 25 cm above it. The handle gives a firm grip when it is full and a lovely contrast with the natural tone of the fibre.

It has the classic rectangular shape with open ends, so logs go in and out easily. Choose between 50 and 60 cm long. If you prefer an esparto handle, see the rectangular esparto log basket.

Handmade by artisans from Jaén

Esparto is one of the fibres most closely tied to rural life in Jaén and southern Spain. This piece comes from an artisan workshop in the province, where it is braided and sewn by hand, strand by strand. From cazorla.online, the craft shop from Cazorla, we send it to you just as it leaves the workshop.
