Description

The esparto belly basket has a round, bulging shape that narrows at the top, with two rope handles on the sides to move it. It is one of those pieces that work anywhere: with a plant inside, in a corner of the living room or as a basket for blankets, cushions or toys.

There are two sizes: 30 × 30 × 35 cm and 45 × 45 × 45 cm. Braided and sewn by hand in natural esparto. More ideas among our esparto baskets.

Handmade by artisans from Jaén

Esparto is one of the fibres most closely tied to rural life in Jaén and southern Spain. This piece comes from an artisan workshop in the province, where it is braided and sewn by hand, strand by strand. From cazorla.online, the craft shop from Cazorla, we send it to you just as it leaves the workshop.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes are available?

35 cm: 30 × 30 × 35 cm; 45 cm: 45 × 45 × 45 cm.

Can I plant directly inside it?

We recommend placing the plant in a pot with a saucer and setting it inside the opening, so watering does not wet the esparto.

Where is it best placed?

Indoors or in covered areas. Esparto is a natural fibre, so keep it away from rain and prolonged damp.
