Low rectangular esparto basket with iron handle

This low rectangular esparto basket with a wrought iron handle is the classic harvest basket: low, rectangular and with a black wrought iron handle to carry it with one hand. In the countryside it was used for fruit and vegetables; at home it works just as well for bread, the day’s fruit or keeping your everyday things at hand.

It measures 45 × 30 × 15 cm, with about 25 cm of handle. More models among our esparto baskets.

Craftsmanship from Jaén at cazorla.online

This piece is braided and sewn by hand in an artisan workshop in the province of Jaén, where esparto is still worked the traditional Andalusian way. At cazorla.online, the craft shop from Cazorla, we choose it so you can have something made by local hands at home, with the small differences that make every piece unique.
