La Alacena de la Abuela, your craft shop in Cazorla<\/em><\/h1>\n

On Plaza de Santa Mar\u00eda, in the heart of the old town and at the foot of the castle, there is a small shop where things are touched, smelled and chosen without hurry. It is La Alacena de la Abuela (“Grandma’s Cupboard”), the bricks-and-mortar shop of cazorla.online: here you can see crafts, souvenirs and local produce in person, and this is where we pack every order you place online.<\/p>\n

Walking in is like opening grandma’s cupboard<\/em><\/h2>\n

Most of us remember that cupboard at our grandparents’ house: a wooden piece of furniture where there was always something good, something useful or something pretty. That is the idea behind every shelf in the shop. Esparto baskets and pieces, clay jars and money boxes, wooden mortars, wind chimes that ring when the door opens, colourful bags and textiles, hats and knitwear for the mountain cold\u2026 and strings of chillies hanging from the ceiling, like in the kitchens of the past.<\/p>\n

It is not a shop of identical shelves or soulless products. Every season new pieces arrive and others leave with whoever chose them, so every visit is different. What we want is for you to take home something with a story, made by hands that know their craft and built to last.<\/p>\n
